Mask of God
All our work in the field, in the garden, in the city, in the home, in struggle, in government--to what does it all amount before God except child's play, by means of which God is pleased to give his gifts in the field, at home, and everywhere? These are the masks of our Lord God, behind which he wants to be hidden and to do all things. --Martin Luther, "Exposition of Psalm 147"

So who is this guy James Altena. A buddy and fellow commenter on "Mere Comments," the link to which is on my home page!
Hi, James--caught you looking!
Hey doesn't look so mean! Funny how you imagine some of the folks who post such firmly held opinions (shall we say?) must have a permanent scowl on their faces. He actually look quite approachable.
Now, please, don't tell me what you think moi must look like.
But why is he dressed like that? Whose wedding?
Kamilla
P.S. I posted further to "Hutchens's Maid" in MC if you're interested in reading that footnote.
His own wedding, Kamilla! James was rather recently married. James is really a Teddy Bear. You heard it here first.
Come on, Kamilla. I was brave enough to put my own picture here (at least, I think that's moi). You can at least send me yours through my personal email link at MC. I won't then turn around and post it to the whole world on my website. Honest. Just ask James....
I'll look for your post on MC. Thanks!
