Where is that darn key to the blog?

Oh, there it is. Must have misplaced it.

In truth, it's been a busy personal time--catching up at work because of my upcoming vacation (out for the next two weeks), a little remodeling at home, both of my darlin' kids home for a little while, and WINNING my arguments with "Underground Logician" [; }] on his blogsite! As our Governator says, "Ah'll be bok!"

True. Alas, if someone really could win these debates, the breach in the church would have been healed 500 years ago!

You are being facetious, you rascal!

Debates are great mental exercises, but they rarely win hearts. Dialogue wins the heart first, then the mind follows. It's a bitter pill to swallow, Bill, admitting that Protestantism is a 500 year old aberration. But, hey, I humbled myself and took my medicine like a man, and look how great I turned out! *LOL*

You've gone back 500 years to the time of Luther in your journey. You just have 1500 more years to go and you'll be doing great too!!!

TS: I don't understand your comment. How so?

I think TS means that the same argument could be used to assert that Christianity is a "Jewish aberration," and therefore one ought to renounce one's Christian faith for Judaism.

It would be an aberration like Protestantism if Jesus had no miracles to confirm his prophetic ministry. Unlike Luther, Christ established something new as a fulfillment of Judaism, with the works of miracles to prove it. It's not an apples-for-apples comparison at all.

UL, I agree with you. I was simply explaining TS's point.

Bill,

I don't know about you, but I haven't been able to do any posting on my blogsite at all. It looks bad, but I can't help it. Wondering if you're suffering from the same malady, WORK!

Hope your fall is a blessed one and I'll keep in touch.

Sam

Gee Bill, eddyflynn thinks your blog is cool. How 'bout that? Makes you feel good that you, along with millions of others, are getting such personal blogspam, eh?

By the way, how ya been?

Bill, why don't you come back to blogging? I miss your posts. BTW, you can go to Blogger's controls and turn on "word verification," which will cut the comment spam way down. They also allow you to moderate every comment before it posts, if you want to fully guard access.
